I got into running after moving to the DMV in 2018, in those days I was able to run solo a lot more and found running to be a good way to make friends… Saw some friends signing up for races and took the plunge and have completed nine marathons (2019, 2021 and 2023 NYC; 2021 and 2022 CIM; 2022 Chicago and MCM 50K; 2024 Tokyo and Boston) and I loved the experience. I have a personal goal of completing at least 14 marathons(hopefully including all the world majors). I am considering running Honolulu in 2024. Additionally, my favorite activity is cycling and I would like to build up to doing long distance bike rides so that I can pursue a triathlon (after I learn how to swim of course)–recently participated in RAGBRAI 2024 and had a blast. Cheers to endurance sports!
